SAFARI Montage

provides K-12 school districts with a comprehensive solution for their digital media networking and visual instruction needs. The full suite of integrated products provides a single interface for accessing all visual resources from inside the school district intranet or from home.

Some of the documentation below is in the "universal" Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) which requires the Adobe Reader to open. This reader software is probably already on your computer. if not, click here to download it.

For Educators:

Login to SAFARI Montage ( montage.norman.k12.ok.us )
Click on the link above to run SAFARI Montage. This link provides access at work or at home. When you are at home (or outside the district network) the login page will show the home (house) icon depicted on the right.

If you are having trouble accessing the videos at home then you should ensure your home computer and software meet the minimum system requirements available via the Safari Montage Support and Managed Home Access web pages. You may also need to configure your home networking equipment (e.g., modem/router) and computer firewalls to allow network traffic on ports 80 (HTTP), 443 (HTTPS), and 554 (RTSP).

The HD Network offers teacher resources such as articles, blogs, forums, and a searchable playlist exchange.

Quicktime Media Player
The link above will download the Apple QuickTime Media Player (Windows version) from the NPS web server to conserve Internet bandwidth. You can also download the player from the Apple web site. QuickTime 7.7 is now a system requirement for viewing SAFARI Montage videos.

SAFARI Montage Media Player
The link above will download the SAFARI Montage Media Player (Windows version) from the NPS web server to conserve Internet bandwidth. You can also download the player from the login screen to our SAFARI Montage server or from the SAFARI Montage Support web site. The SAFARI Montage Media Player is recommended, but not required, to view SAFARI Montage videos.
