Using Individual School Databases

XP

 


Turn Protection off

Login

Click on Start

Click on Run

Type in Open box

            Udt.ini

Add under [drives]

Y:\\SM1\SME120

Change the 120 to match your site code.

Z:\\SM2\SMECONTENT

Click File then Save

Click File then Exit

Note:

All sites map Y \\sm1\sme###  Replace ### with school site number.

The Z drive is different depending on your site.

For Elementary the z drive is !Z:\\sm2\smecontent

For All other sites z drive is !Z:\\sm1\smecontent
 
Logoff

Logon

Click on Start

Click on Run

Type in Open box

Y:

Y drive will open

Open ResultsManager

Open SuccessMaker

Open Workst

Locate Setup.exe and double click to install. Do not use Newsetup.exe

Click next

A screen displays “Installing” as files are copied to the computer

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Finish

PC will restart

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Installation of SuccessMaker is complete.

You can logoff and turn protection back on.
