Criterion
Referenced Tests (CRTs)
The Oklahoma State
Testing Program, as mandated and described in Title 70 O.S. §1210.508, requires
that criterion-referenced tests be administered in the following grades and
content areas.
Four performance levels
(Advanced, Satisfactory, Limited Knowledge, and
Unsatisfactory) are used for results on these tests. Advanced and Satisfactory categories are
considered as “Passing” or “Proficient”.
Scores from the Oklahoma
Core Curriculum Tests evaluate student achievement with respect to the Priority
Academic Student Skills, (PASS).

End of
Instruction Tests (EOIs)
The Oklahoma State
Testing Program, as mandated and described in Title 70.O.S.§1210.508, requires that
students who have completed instruction for specified secondary level
competencies complete End-of-Instruction tests for those competencies in order
to graduate from high school.
Students are offered the
opportunity to retake the tests once prior to graduation.
The highest achieved
performance level is recorded as a permanent record on the student’s high
school transcript.
The academic areas tested
are English II and III, Algebra I and 2,
Oklahoma Core Curriculum
Test scores are as follows: Advanced;
Satisfactory; Limited Knowledge; and Unsatisfactory.
Advanced and Satisfactory
are both considered as “Passing” or “Proficient”.
Criterion referenced
interpretations compare student achievement with respect to the Oklahoma
Priority Academic Student Skills, (PASS).
