1. Why won’t my computer connect to the network?
- The NPS network is down. If this occurs usually all users are
down at your site.
- Your ethernet cable is not securely connected or it just needs to be reseated (plugged
and unplugged at the wall and on the PC).
- Your wireless access point is not working. It may be unplugged from
the network, or from the power supply.
- Your laptop is searching for the wrong wireless network or npsnet has not been added to the wireless

- Your network wall jack may be bad. Try a different one if possible.
- Your ethernet patch cable my be bad. Ask your Site Contact if they have any
spares.
