| Oklahoma PASS Objectives First Grade Science XV. Objects in the Sky A. The sun, moon, stars, clouds, birds, and airplanes all have properties, location, and movements that can be observed and described. Language Arts NPS Curriculum Students will identify properties of the sun and the moon. NPS Technology Students explain and practice the rules of NPS policies related to Internet and computer use. Students use a favorites or bookmarked list to access web sites. Students use a word processing program. Students delete text. Students select text and change the text size, font, and style. |
Description: Students will gather
information from Internet resources. They will write a
fantasy story about a trip to Space. Lesson : 2. Then in Word (START>Common Programs>Word), students will write a fantasy story about a trip in Space. They may add clip art and change font as desired. Students need to save their work to their U: drive (FILE>SAVE AS).
3. The teacher can print the stories to make a class book, or the teacher can save them to a PowerPoint presentation for the class web page. NOTES Online Resources
