Students click, double-click, and click and drag the mouse.

Students recognize program and document icons.

Students open and exit programs correctly.

Students click on an icon, folder, or document to open or start a prgram.

Students log on and off the NPS network correctly.

Students use tools in a paint program.

Students change colors and patterns in a paint program.

Description: Students will observe weather conditions and draw, write and describe types of weather, seasons of the year and appropriate clothing for different types of weather.

Lesson :

Day 1
1. Students will observe the weather (5 days).

2. Using MS Paint (Start > Common Programs > Accessories > Paint) students draw a picture of the weather.

3. Save the picture to the My Stuff (U:) drive.

4. Print the picture. To make sure that pictures print to just one page you must change the page size.

5. In class, students add pictures of people in appropriate clothing to their printed picture.

Day 2
1. Open web browser and go to the Storyplace web site

2. Students choose appropriate clothing for Bella Bear.
