Teacher
will demonstrate each step and then the students will
follow.
- From the Start menu, open the
paint program.(Start>Common
Programs>Accessories>Paint)
- Use the paint bucket to select a
background color.

- Using the line tool, draw a
straight line down the middle of the screen.
- Using the line tool, draw a
straight line across the middle of the screen.
- Use the circle/oval tool to create
a circle in one of the spaces. (If you hold
down the Shift key while you drag you can make a
perfect circle.)
- Use the paint bucket, select the
color red, and click inside the circle to color
it.
- Use the square/rectangle tool to
create a square in one of the spaces.
- Use the paint bucket, select the
color blue, and click inside the square to color
it.
- Use the square/rectangle tool to
create a rectangle in one of the spaces.
- Use the paint bucket, select the
color yellow, and click inside the rectangle to
color it.
- Use the polygon tool to create a
triangle in the last space.
- Use the paint bucket, select the
color green, and click inside the triangle to
color it.

- After teacher has observed each
students finished picture, students may
explore the paint program as they choose.
- Exit the program.
