Cleveland is so excited to have the OU Men’s Gymnastics team volunteer with us again! This is the 2^nd year of a fantastic partnership. The team members are assigned a teacher and each week they work with the students. We in return cheer them on as they make a run for another National Championship. We will have another Cleveland goes to the Men’s Gymnastics Meet in February! Check back often for picture up dates and events with the OU gymnasts. Read about them on SOONERSPORTS.COM!

Jake is a super volunteer and really enjoys his kindergarten fans. Jake never misses a chance to come to Cleveland and he always brings a smile with him!

Taqiy is in his 2^nd year of volunteering with Mrs. Warren’s

Class. They are also known as the TAQIY TROOPS! They looped with Mrs. Warren this year so they already knew how special Taqiy is! They love it when Taqiy visits. They got to try on his National Championship ring!

Everyone thought that was very cool!

Mark Williams is the head coach of the very successful OU men’s gymnastics team. Coach Williams is a former English teacher and really supports the partnership Cleveland has with the team. Coach has 8 National Championship rings in gymnastics. He is also the current US Nationals Coach. Coach Mark loves to come out and see what’s happening at Cleveland. He and his wife are expecting their first child this year.

Corey English is new to OU and to Cleveland. He is a freshman and very excited to be working with Mrs. Kays’ 2^nd grade class each week!

Russ is in his 2^nd year as a volunteer at Cleveland.

This year he works with kindergarten students in Mrs. Trent’s class!
