Wilson Gifted Program

Wilson’s gifted program provides educational services for students who have been identified for high performance capability in areas such as intellectual, creative, artistic, musical, or leadership capacity.  Wilson school has a half time GRC(gifted resource coordinator).  The GRC provides experiences/activities schoolwide, small group and individually to expose students to art, current events, occupations, hobbies, cultures and events not ordinarily covered in the regular curriculum.  Instructional methods are designed to promote the development of  critical/logical thinking, affective skills, listening , observing, analyzing/organization, responsible citizenship and test taking skills.
