| Adams Elementary |
Sandy is the Artistic Director of Norman Children’s Chorus which appeared as an Honor Group at the Oklahoma Music Educators Association conference in January 2003 and again in 2005. She has been guest conductor for honor choirs in Louisiana and Missouri and has served as a guest conductor throughout Oklahoma at Circle the State with Song festivals in Guymon, Jenks, Altus, Tahlequah, Enid, Durant, Byng, Norman, Putnam City, and this year in Owasso. Sandy served OMEA as State Chair of Circle the State with Song and the All-OMEA Children’s Chorus for two years and continues to serve as Repertoire Chair for CTSWS. She has completed two summers of study with Doreen Rao in the Choral Music Experience Institute. Often requested as clinician, Sandy has presented workshops on local, state, and national levels. Sandy has served as President of the Oklahoma Kodály Educators and is currently serving OAKE as a Southern Regional Representative. Since 1990, Sandy has enjoyed teaching Solfege I and II in The University of Oklahoma Kodály summer certification programs in Norman and in Tulsa.

currently teaches music at Adams Elementary in Norman and has a total of 30 years of
teaching experience in Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri. She received her B.M.E. from
the University of Tulsa and her Kodaly Certification from Silver Lake College in
Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Ms. Garner completed her
Orff Certification Level I at Oklahoma Baptist University. |

| Cleveland Elementary |
School Phone: 366-5875 Linda Bibb teaches music and assists with the direction of the school chorus at Cleveland Elementary. This is her tenth year at Cleveland. Ms. Bibb earned her B.M.E. Degree from Oklahoma Baptist University, and has completed Kodaly Certification at the University of Oklahoma and Orff Certification Level II at Oklahoma Baptist University. She has additional hours of study from Howard Payne University, the University of Central Oklahoma and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Ms. Bibb served as Music Librarian at Northeastern Oklahoma A. & M Junior College, Miami, Oklahoma for three years and taught music in the public schools of San Antonio and Houston, Texas for five years. She and her husband lived in Ghana and Nigeria for ten years and were involved in music teaching in mission schools and churches. She taught one year in the rural communities of Middleburg and Dibble, Oklahoma before joining the Norman Public Schools in 1993-94. Ms. Bibb was at Jefferson Elementary for five years before moving to Cleveland. Ms. Bibb is currently the regional chair for Circle the State with Song and is a member of the Oklahoma Orff Chapter, MENC, OAKE, and NEA.
Regina Bell, a 20-year veteran music teacher, is a 1985 Shawnee High School graduate and completed her degree in Music education at the University of Oklahoma. While in college, she was active in the Pride of Oklahoma marching band, the Pride of Oklahoma Student Staff, the University Wind Ensemble, honors chamber group and the University Orchestra. After graduating from OU, Ms. Bell taught for 11 years in Arlington, Texas and for one year in McKinney, Texas. Ms. Bell also taught 4 years at Madison Elementary school in Norman and was on the grant writing team that awarded the school the 2003 OETT Technology Trust Grant for $75,000. She has also presented at several state wide technology conferences on the integration of technology into the music classroom. Ms. Bell is a member of MENC, OMEA, NEA, OTA, PTA, Tau Beta Sigma, Mu Phi Epsilon, The Pride of Oklahoma Alumni Band and is the Scholarship Chairwomen for the OU Club of Norman which awards scholarships to incoming freshman at OU who graduate from a Norman High School and Norman North High School. This marks her third year at Cleveland Elementary School. As a Cleveland Teacher she is responsible for the music education of students in grades K through 5th grades. She is also the Public Relations Liaison for the Norman Transcript and NPS Cable Channel 18. Ms. Bell also serves on the Technology planning committee and is an advocate for the use of technology in the music classroom. She is also the coordinator of the OU Athletic Volunteer/Mentor program. She has been instrumental in working with the University of Oklahoma's Football and Men's Gymnastic teams to create student mentors for Cleveland. The OU Student Athletes participate in many school events, fundraisers, and daily classroom activities. Ms. Bell has been recognized with several teaching awards including the 1999 AWARE award for Excellence in Teaching as teacher of the year for the Arlington, Texas Independent School District, Inductee to the Arlington Education Wall of Fame, Texas PTA Life Membership and is listed in the 2000, 2005, 2006, and 2007 Edition of Who's Who Among American Classroom Teachers. Ms. Bell was named the Association of Professional Oklahoma Educators Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2007. She has also received over $4000.00 in grants from the Norman Public Schools Foundation. Her motto is "Whatever it takes" to make her students find love and appreciation in MUSIC. She is thrilled to be a Cleveland Cub. Ms. Bell is married to Mike Bell and they have two sons Brooks and Brady. They also have two "daughters" Blossom and Baylee Dog Bell.

| Eisenhower Elementary |
Robert
Lee Kidd III teaches music at Eisenhower Elementary School in Norman, Oklahoma. He is
director of the Eisenhower Concert Chorus, an elective ensemble of seventy
4th and 5th grade students. His educational preparation includes the Choral
Music Experience artist-teacher diploma, bachelor and master of music
education degrees (B.M.E.; M.M.E.) from The University of Oklahoma, and the
doctor of education in music education degree (Ed.D.) from the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before his current teaching position, Dr. Kidd
was an instructor of instrumental music, secondary choral music, and
supervisor of music in the Norman Public Schools; assistant director of
bands and instructor of music at the University of Pittsburgh; assistant
professor of music and education at Murray (KY) State University; and JDR3rd
Fund Administrative Fellow in Arts in Education with the Oklahoma State
Department of Education. Named as Norman Public Schools Teacher of the Year
in 1988, Dr. Kidd was chosen to participate in the Metropolitan Opera Guild
Creating Original Opera Teacher Workshop Series on two occasions. He served
as a member of the advisory committee of the National Endowment for the Arts
which published Toward Civilization (1988), a report on arts education in
America, and was chosen to travel with several other Norman teachers to
Japan to participate in a cultural exchange sponsored by Hitachi Computer
Products (America), Inc. In April 1997, he received the Oklahoma Medal for
Excellence in Teaching at the Elementary Level from the Oklahoma Foundation
for Excellence. Dr. Kidd has served as elementary division vice president of
the Oklahoma Music Educators Association and founding chair of OMEA’s
Circle The State With Song, a statewide children’s choral festival, and
the All-OMEA Children’s Chorus. In 1999, he was inducted into the OMEA
Hall Of Fame. He has been elementary representative on the executive board
of the Oklahoma Choral Directors Association and is a past president and
member of the board of Children’s Arts Network. In November 2001, Dr. Kidd
received a Governor’s Arts Award for Arts and Education from the Oklahoma
Arts Council, and in August 2002, he was inducted into the Oklahoma
Educators Hall Of Fame. In June 2003, he was named the Oklahoma Choral
Directors Association Director of Distinction. He has memberships with Phi
Delta Kappa (professional education organization), National Education
Association, Oklahoma Education Association, The National Association for
Music Education, American Choral Directors Association, Oklahoma Choral
Directors Association, International Trombone Association, College Music
Society, Organization of American Kodály Educators, American Orff-Schulwerk
Association, and Dance and the Child International.

of Spirit Quest, a contemporary music group in Norman. |

| Jackson Elementary | Libby Waldenville
School Phone: 405-366-5884 Libby Waldenville, music specialist at Jackson since 1987, completed her Bachelor's Degree in Music education (Instrumental/Vocal/General) at the Univeristy of Oklahoma. Her Master's degree is also from OU with Kodaly emphasis. Prior to her current teaching position she was employed with Moore Public Schools. Ms. Waldenville has served as Treasurer, Vice-President, and President of the state Kodaly Educators Association. She was All-OMEA Children's Chorus Chair and Circle the State with Song Chair. She has also served as regional Chair for CTSWS and chaired the 1995 Orff Festival. She has presented clinics at state and national conferences of OMEA and OAMKE. She is currently serving a 2 year term as the OMEA Elementary Vice-President. Ms. Waldenville was selected as Site Teacher of the Year in both 1991 and 1995.

She has taught elementary and secondary music in Oklahoma for 27 years. She received her Bachelor of Music Educaton degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee. She is a member of MEMC.

| Jefferson Elementary |
Carol Webb
teaches Kindergarten-5th grade and Pre-School music at Jefferson Elementary and also
teaches at day-care programs in the Norman area. She has taught at Jefferson since
1993. Ms. Webb received her B.M.E from the University of Oklahoma. She is a Kodaly
Certified Instructor and is currently a board member for the Oklahoma Kodaly Educators.
Ms. Webb also serves as Kdg-2nd grade choir director at her church in Noble. |

School Phone: 405-366-5894 Sherri Logan currently teaches Kdg-5th grade students at Kennedy Elementary School. Prior to teaching at Kennedy, she taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade choral music at Longfellow Middle School. She has been with Norman Public Schools since 1989. Prior to teaching at Longfellow, she was choral director at Whittier Middle School. Ms. Logan earned her Bachelor of Music
Education degree at Oklahoma City University and a Master of Music Education degree at the
University of Oklahoma. She is a member of MENC, OMEA, ACDA, OCDA, COCDA and has
served as adjudicator around the state of Oklahoma. She is active with her church music
department and also teaches private voice students.

Lani Aloha Garner is in her third year of teaching at Lakeview in 2009-2010, having taught for several years at Monroe Elementary School. She has been teaching in the Norman Public School District for 17 years. She received her B.M.E, Kodaly I and II certifications as well as Orff Certification I, from the University of Oklahoma. Mrs. Garner recently was a recipient of the Intenational Rotary Group Study Exchange program that traveled to Norway in the Summer of 2001. She brings much of her travels and excitement for multi-culturalism to her classes. |

She received a Bachelor of Music Education, Masters of Elementary Education and Kodaly training from the University of Oklahoma. She has taught in the Norman Public Schools since 1973. the 1999 and 2000
regional chair for the Oklahoma Music Educators Association's choral festival, Circle the
State with Song. She served on the Oklahoma State Department of Education
committee for core curriculum tests. She was Lincoln's Teacher of

sixteenth
year in the Norman Public Schools where she continues to teach at McKinley Elementary. She
previously taught music in grades K-12 for the Navajo School District near Altus (for
eleven years) where she directed an elementary honor choir, and junior high and high
school choirs. She received her Kodaly Certification in 1987 and a Masters Degree in Music
Education in 1993 from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. She is active in MENC,
ACDA, and OAKE and has served as a local officer in the latter two organizations' state
chapters. She has served as President of the Oklahoma Kodaly Educators
and as co-editor of their newsletter. She has sung with the Cimarron
Circuit Opera Company and a local chancel choir where she is a frequent soloist. |

School Phone: 366-5927 Cindy Scarberry is a national board certified music teacher at Monroe Elementary School where she co-founded “Manyawi!”, the state’s first children’s World Music and Marimba Ensemble. Her passion for multicultural arts integration has led to many collaborations and grant opportunities. In October of 2002, Cindy was awarded the Fulbright Memorial Fund Fellowship to Japan. In 2006, she was awarded the Fund for Teachers and Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence fellowship enabling her and two colleagues to work with the non-profit organization, Ancient Ways, while studying culture and music in Zimbabwe, Africa. Upon return, Fund for teachers awarded her team the 2006 National Raymond Plank Fellowship Award for Teaching Excellence. Cindy received her Bachelor of Music Education and additional Kodaly training from the University of Oklahoma. She has been an Oklahoma A+ Schools fellow since 2003 where she has developed and facilitated many workshops including music integration, multiple intelligences, curriculum mapping and collaboration. She has also facilitated arts integration workshops for the Oklahoma Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain. In addition to teaching, Cindy Scarberry is a professional singer, songwriter and studio vocalist. In 1997, she was inducted into Grant Leftwich’s Opry Hall of Fame and recognized by the State of Oklahoma for her contributions to the Oklahoma Department of Tourism. Cindy currently works with the non-profit organization, Opry Heritage Foundation of Oklahoma and is the Program Director for their weekly show, the Centennial Rodeo Opry.

Erin Faulkner Erin Faulkner is in her third year of teaching at Roosevelt Elementary where she teaches pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. In 2006, she received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Oklahoma City University. She was also awarded the OCU Department of Education’s Outstanding Future Elementary/Secondary (K-12) Teacher Award for the 2006-2007 school year. Miss Faulkner is a member of MENC, NEA, Green Country Oklahoma Orff Chapter, and Sigma Alpha Iota.
Sharon Wayne received her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Central Oklahoma, a Master's Degree in Music Education at the University of Oklahoma, along with additional Kodaly and Orff training. She is certified in general music, early childhood, and elementary education. Sharon is an a ctive member of te Music Educators National Conference (MENC), Oklahoma Music Educators Association (OMEA), and the American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA). Prior to teaching at Roosevelt, she has taught music in the community for several years to students Pre-K through 8th grade. Sharon performs for various organizations, special occasions, has a piano studio, and enjoys composing and arranging music. She currently serves on the Board for the Children's Arts Network. |

Sarah Gee is in her fourth year of teaching at Truman Elementary. Her first two years she taught K-2nd grade and she is now responsible for teaching Kindergarten – 5th grade alongside her music team at Truman. Mrs. Gee received her Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Arts and Vocal Performance at Oklahoma Baptist University. She is very involved in her church music department and enjoys teaching piano and voice lessons on the side. Mrs. Gee is married to Jon Gee who is also a Norman Public Schools educator.

Mark Lenington School Phone: 405-366-5984 Mark Lenington received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1996. At OU he sang in the choir and select choir ensemble, sang lead roles in six different opera productions, played saxophone in the marching band, and worked during the summers with children’s musical camps. In 1995 he studied and sang opera for four months in Graz, Austria through the American Institute of Musical Studies. Mark was the assistant choral director at Norman High School in 1997-98, and has taught at Washington Elementary from 1998 to the present.

Sarah Bishop Sarah Bishop teaches music to Kindergarten through fifth grade students at Wilson Elementary School. She also conducts the Wilson Wildcats Honor Choir, an elective enrichment group of fourth and fifth graders. A graduate of Norman North High School, Mrs. Bishop received a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma in 2006. She is certified in both elementary education and general vocal music education. After teaching 5th grade for one year, Mrs. Bishop began teaching music in the fall of 2008.
