ANN WARD ROSALES

Ann was raised in Blackwell, Oklahoma and then began her higher education in Edmond at the University of Central Oklahoma. She graduated in 2006 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She moved to Norman in 2006 and began teaching during the implementation of full day Kindergarten in Norman Public Schools. Ann has continued to teach in Norman at McKinley Elementary for the past four years. She currently serves on the Early Childhood Advisory Board and the Elementary Science Advisory Board. She is anticipating many more Kindergarten experiences at McKinley for the future. Ann has spent summer breaks teaching overseas. Her love for early childhood and education has allowed her to teach in China and Africa. She remains connected with her learning community through the Oklahoma Writing Project. Ann enjoys presenting as an OWP Teacher's consultant throughout the state. She continues to grow in her field as she plans to begin her masters in Education Administration at Oklahoma University this fall. Ann is extremely honored and feels very blessed to be a part of a community that believes in the power of education and that extends tremendous support for its educators and students.
