NAA is funded through memberships, program ads, and concession sales.  It is a 501 C(3) organization.

Please encourage all members of your booster club to join NAA.  Membership forms are available on the NAA main page.  Booster clubs receive $10 of each NAA membership and ALL net proceeds from concession sales.

NAA is the umbrella organization for all booster clubs of NPS.

 

1.The purpose of the NAA is to support the student athletes and athletic programs representing Norman Public Schools.

 

2.NAA provides one Letter Award (jacket, ring, blanket, or watch) per student athlete when he or she letter the first time.

 

3.The NAA purchases All-State jackets for athletes achieving All-State recognition.

 

4.The NAA coordinates sanctioning of booster clubs with NPS to allow individual clubs to conduct fundraisers on behalf of their athletes/program (NPS Board policy & state law).

 

5.By contract with NPS, the NAA allows booster clubs to sell concessions at the events with net proceeds going to benefit the booster clubs.

 

6.Booster clubs receive all net proceeds from concession sales that the booster clubs work.

 

7.The NAA provides MVP and Team Contributor Awards for each team along with senior medals to each senior athlete at the end of his or her respective season.

 

8.NAA, in conjunction with the Norman Transcript, recognizes athletes of the quarter for each high school and each sport season during that respective quarter.

 

9.The NAA publishes the programs provided at NPS sporting events.

 

10.NAA is funded through memberships, program ad sales, and concession sales.  It is a 501 C(3) organization (non-profit, NOT tax exempt).

 

11.Memberships are tax-deductible.  Booster clubs receive $10.00 of each primary membership ($20.00), and the entire amount from any secondary memberships ($10.00).

 

12.NAA Board meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the NPS Curriculum Center.
