Norman North Cheer was recognized Wednesday at the Oklahoma State Capitol after an undefeated season and back-to-back state championships in STUNT.

The team completed a perfect regular season and claimed a regional title with a double-overtime win against Bixby. Norman North faced Bixby again in the state championship and secured the title in another double-overtime finish, earning its second consecutive state championship.

In addition to its state success, Norman North recorded two top-10 finishes at NCA nationals in Texas.

State Rep. Jacob Rosecrants recognized the team at the Capitol, honoring the athletes for their accomplishments and representation of Norman Public Schools.

Norman North Cheer finishes the season as one of the top-performing programs in the state and nation.
